A MESSAGE FROM THE OWNER
I have always been fascinated by trees. When I was a little girl, I used to climb trees and sit in them for hours reading and playing. I was always intrigued by the fact that they had roots growing into the earth and branches growing into the sky. I was amazed by their branches that reached so high and how tall they could grow. As an adult, this fascination continued and evolved into an appreciation for the Tree of Life and what it symbolizes. The Tree of Life symbol is present across various cultures and religions all over the world. It is seen as a uniting symbol that has come to represent creation, protection, strength, wisdom, knowledge, redemption, transformation, beauty and bounty. The analogy that I connect with the most is the analogy of the Tree of Life as an analogy for human life. It can be said that humans develop “roots” or thoughts and “grow branches” through knowledge and wisdom. The “Trunk” (mind and body) are the anchor keeping the “roots” (thoughts) and the “branches” (knowledge and wisdom) connected.
The meaning of the Tree of Life and all of its branches, transcends across people of different cultures, belief systems, and faiths with the message of connection and unity. This message is why I focused on Branches of Life Healing Center as the name for this practice. I believe that the branches of the Tree of Life represent the importance of human connection. It is my belief that by creating positive interpersonal relationships that healing can and will take place. I have witnessed the power of healing relationships in my client’s lives over the years and it is a truly remarkable, incredible, and awe inspiring journey that I feel very privileged to be a part of. I hope that you will allow me to join you and to be a part of your healing journey.
